Government Affairs Committee Scope of Work
The purpose of the Government Affairs Committee is to:
- Work to ensure that the Political Action Committee fund has sufficient resources to fulfill the needs
- Plan and propose PAC fundraiser events to the RHA board in conjunction with the Events Committee
- Work with the RHA staff to identify Government Affairs Priorities
- Attend political events, hearings, rallies, protests, and other public occasions on behalf of the rental housing industry
- Collect and provide feedback to the RHA staff on Government Affairs issues that need to be addressed
2025 Meeting Schedule
Government Affairs Committee Meetings will be held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 2:00 PM.
NOTE: The committee will meeting on a weekly basis on Thursdays at 2:00 PM throughout
the 2025 legislative session (January 21st through March 14th).
