Economic Forecast
The Economic Conference is an event where economists, demographers, and experts in rental housing / market trends come and forecast the future of rental housing in the state. Attendees are individuals who are interested in the future of this industry.
Trade Show & Education Conference
The RHA Utah trade show is the states largest and most comprehensive event dedicated to fair housing and the rental market as a whole. The trade show features all day education, round the clock floor time (for property managers to walk around and meet exhibitors), lunch headlined by nation renowned speakers, and many more opportunities for everyone who attends. In 2019 the RHA Utahtrade show had over 1,500 attendees, and this trend is expected to continue. Most everyone who attends the trade show has nothing but raving reviews about how beneficial the conference is.
If you want to make it in the rental housing industry, this is a must attend event.
PAC Luncheon
The RHA Utah P.A.C. Luncheon is held to honor those who have helped the industry by donating to
the RHA Utah PAC. It also helps raise awareness regarding pressing issues landlords face every year.
Attendance to the event, cost, and location are decided by the government affairs committee.
This event is designed to be a fundraiser and often includes a silent auction, and political
speakers.
The P.A.C. Luncheon includes a 2 hour program with elected officials.
Golf Tournament
The RHA Utah golf tournament is a summer event held to help network and connect vendors and
property managers. The tournament is a shotgun start in the morning, and plays as a 4-manscramble. Golfers are grouped into teams of 4 and as they play they stop at the beginning of
every hole and talk to that hole sponsor. Prizes are giving to the top finishing teams, and there
are lots of opportunities to win draw prizes as well as contest prizes. This event is a great way
to network, and spend quality time with current and potential clients.
“Business to Business Exchange”
The RHA Utah “Business to Business Exchange” is a fundraiser for the RHA Utah’s Political Action Committee. In order to sponsor the event you must exhibit in the 2020, or contracted to exhibit in the 2021 RHA Utah trade show. At this “Reverse Trade Show” event property managers and decision makers volunteer their time to hear from you. Vendors get 5 minutes at each table and then move to the next one (at the ring of a bell). This event allows you to get one-on-one time with clients and promotes easy follow up for the future.
Topaz Awards
The RHA Utah Topaz Awards is an event held to honor those who excel within the rental housing industry. Companies, properties, individuals, and vendors are nominated for specific awards and then judged by an awards committee. Finalist are welcome to come, with the winners being announced at the event. This event is formal with some individuals wearing tuxedos. This event is a great way to get your company name notable recognition, as well to mix and mingle with decision makers in the rental housing market.
RHA Utah Movie Night
The RHA Utah Movie Night is held at the end of every year to honor those individuals who go above and beyond to make the RHA Utah a successful and striving organization. Primarily those who participate with the “member get a member program” are invited to reserve tickets, as well as board members, premier sponsors, and committee chairs.
We rent out an entire theater and watch a newly released movie, the past four being “James Bond: Spectre”, “Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them”, “Justice League”, and Fantastic Beast the Crimes of Grindelwald”.
