Legislative Update - 2025 Week 5

Things are moving quickly at the legislature this session.

 Highlights include:

HB 480 Landlord Communication Amendments which takes away discretion from judges in some eviction lockout cases, clarifies calendar days for tenant deposit disposition request process, allow security deposit accounting and funds to be sent electronically and a few minor changes.
